The Winter Hill Transmission began life as a solo project, a handful of acoustic demos written and recorded in a Tyneside flat by Ben Holland in January 2010.
A copy soon found its way to his friend Andy Lofthouse and, over one February weekend, they set about recording and producing two demos, How Could We Ever Know and Matador.
